Hey Kid, my wife and I saw George Benson in concert back in the early 90's in Santa Rosa, California. That was an awesome concert and believe it or not...LOUD!!! Small Venue and a great musician and very tight band.
We like jazz standards over here. Mom plays the piano and has a bunch of good stuff . She mostly likes 30s and 40s tunes but jazz standards her favorite. Oh and then there is Mozart
Bonkbonkbonk
Ps: didn't Oblamer look ticked off at BC tonight MOL
DeanO, I can believe that. :) He is a monster player. I've always enjoyed listening.
I saw another youtube where he is talking about his playing, kind of a learning DVD, where he explains one of his main inspirations was Django Reinhart. I've heard that name more than a few hundred times.
Hi Pierro, I like Mozart. I also like the complicated stuff even more, like Tchaikovsky. I'm jealous of your piano playing though. I got stuck on guitar but probably would have been much better on Piano.
I saw a little clip of oblama bugging out with a pathetic excuse and letting BC have the stage. I didn't notice the ticked off in that vid, but yes, he seems ticked off most of the time, which I attribute to his incredible incompetence.
Demanding incompetent people to perform as much as he surely causes him a lot of grief.
I'm going to assume his teleprompter was not available for the BC appearance ! :)
MOL.. Sorry, I'm drawing a blank... Munch on Liberals ? I don't think they'd taste very good. :)

You can never go wrong with George Benson.
ReplyDeleteI remember a song I was wild about as a kid. I was a very romantic child.

Opus, I never heard that one. It's very romantic.
ReplyDeleteI was talking to a friend at work yesterday and his favorite tune from George was from that album - Give me the Night.
I liked Masquerade and Broadway a lot in those days.
Benson rocks!!!
ReplyDeleteWoman, yea, he's a star.
