So the TV is on in the kitchen as I walk through and I have to stop and torture myself by observing this asinine commercial that has music written for 2 and 3 year old children with a repeating graphic that simply says "Be careful when you use the internet"

WTF?

First off, any person actually requiring such advice will get jack shit benefit out of the phrase "Be careful when you use the internet".  I can hear them now, their little brainless heads tilting back and forth like Beagles when they hear an unfamiliar sound as they ask the non-responsive TV "Ok, What does That Mean?"

The TV offers them no quarter.  The TV moves on to trying to sell them an air mattress at some grossly perverted price, or a can of spray goo that they can use to foul their beautiful counter tops as well as get another can for free, just paying some grossly perverted price for 'postage and handling' - but hey, a $370 value for 2 cans of crap that would cost all of 6 bucks if they went out and found some.  Can't Beat THAT!

Go Forward? No, We Need to Go Backward.

On my first assignment as a consultant/software engineer, I was on client site and working on a problem with purchase orders and inventory quantity updates.  I called back to the office and talked to the head guy in technical support, telling him of what I suspected the problem was, asking how the software was handling such a situation today.  "Ah", he said "don't go forward to untested algorithms, go backwards to proven processes".
And so it was.  I looked in earlier versions of the software and found the solution, and this concept has provided a valuable way of looking at problems ever since.

In another example, my Dad's 65 Chevy Bel Air's steering wheel never fell off, nor did the ignition switch ever turn itself off at any time during it's entire career as family car/late night race car.  Yet, here we are in 2014 and various GM vehicles have problems with steering wheels falling off and ignition switches turning themselves at random, sometimes killing people, as well as a host of other serious problems(but that's another post that I'm not going to bother with.)

And so it is with society and its problems.  Take libtards.  If we go back far enough, we find that there were Zero libtards that were able to keep themselves alive because quite simply, there was no process in place to take things from people who produced food and shelter and simply give any of that to some lazy ignorant bastard who provided nothing in return. Why should you or I provide for someone who simply chooses to not provide for themself ?  The focal point of conservatism.  Sure they provided for their elders, who became unable to join the hunts and war parties, beause they respected all these people who Contributed to that point. From young people until they were overcame by age. Respect.
Who has respect for a 20-something whose done nothing and doesn't want to do anything.

Today, we have an increasing number of able bodied people who believe they can and do conduct their lives in a way that provides nothing for society and nothing for themselves!   They rely on the government (and unions to some extent) to take from those who have and give to those who won't.  And they don't even have the slightest motivation to conserve.  If their electric bill is being paid, why bother turning up the AC in the summer to 74, why not keep it on 70, or why turn down the heat in winter, put that sucker on 78 and be comfortable without any effort at all.  Clip coupons before going to the store with their food stamp card?  Surely you Jest Monsieur!!  Ho Hooo.  

When the number of people taking exceed the number of people being robbed to feed the takers, the system will come apart.  We are about to that point.

What will those people do then? Die.  Because they have zero skills to survive. They'll be calling 911 saying they're out of toilet paper.
