Pre-Existing Conditions and the Health Care Debates

A Huge H/T to Adrienne at Adrienne's Place

Perfection

 Yea, we're screwed.

My equation is:  Compassion for People with Pre-existing Conditions vs Requirement for Private HC ins Companies to be Profitable = We're Screwed.

Stephen Hawking say's humankind's existence requires us to migrate to another planet within 100 years.  He May Be Right!  Islamism/Liberalism/Globalism = the death of humankind.

Oh and here is a good one on pre-existing conditions also.

 Great blog too.

  1. I'm sure as hell not going to migrate to New York or any planets in the NE Commie corridor!

    1. IMP, This blog does not advocate migration of conservatives to anywhere with high taxes, absurd gun laws, or an over abundance of libtards.

      You are safe my friend.

  3. I am seriously not smart enough to get all that that excellent article provides but I got quite a bit of the gist of it and it feels to me like that's absolutely right EXCEPT it's only right'in a perfect, unadulterated, un leftwinger-ized' world. And that's not us today. I don't think that sentiment works anymore.... Who's going to completely rework the insurance business, for example? Barnhardt's excellent thinking depends on strength of MIND (which I don't even have enough of to understand it all, tho I admittedly kind of scanned it..), strength of self-reliance, thinking ahead, less greed, less 'gimme'...
Do you think her input could WORK today? Changing everything around making the truth seem palatable to a world which is already blaming Trump for 'millions of deaths' incorrectly ???

    1. Z, We are Deep in the hole. No doubt. I liked a lot of this offering. Like would you pay for car insurance to get oil changes? Hell no. if you are a horrible driver should the rest of the country help pay for you insurance? Hell nos.
Unfortunately we will find few people who will approve of people with serious medical problems paying more for their health insurance.

To truly believe that You and Me need to send more money into the government because of pre-existing conditions, then where does it stop? It doesn't. It goes right to we send more money to the entire world because someone is suffering somewhere - like N Korea, like the ME. Screw that. Shit happens. If kim jong short dong is screwing you, I don't owe you shit. I'm not sending you money! You need to grab your ass with both hands and find a way to kill that spider brained monkey.

    5. The only gators left are the ones they make belts and boots/ handbags from. The rest we eat down in Miami. Taste like chicken wings. And the jaws with the teeth still left in.... make great ash trays!
Besides.... we only see them in TV when one decides to jump in a backyard pool.

      Wink wink

  6. Before I forget Kid, thanks for the link. I do wonder if pre-existing conditions apply to those buying life insurance policies. Wonder if a man doctor tells him he has at best only six months before meeting his maker. Can he trot down to his insurance agent and demand a $500,000 policy. Hell that would be cheaper for the company than a man with a life long pre-existing condition that could cost the company millions. Appears to be something serious wrong in this pre-existing sh*t! By the way thanks for the follow up on this ole fart's ramblings about Mexico!

    1. Ron, it is maybe the most complicated situation we are faced with - imo On the one hand, those of us who are sane can easily empathize with those who have pre-existing conditions - mostly. Yet at the same time we also know that shit happens. Equality is a non-existent thing. Each of us will suffer more or less in any category you care to mention at no fault of our own. Shit happens.
I think we can do something about pre-existing. We were already taking care of people with no health insurance by way of them showing up at ER's and we paying for it indirectly anytime We got health care. I think some sort of up front managed way of taking care of people outside the norm will be much less expensive than trying to pretend they don't exist.

Mexico - I can lose it from time to time and what I wrote PS is true. So much richness there and too bad it has gotten diseased. It is sad that I have no interest at all in going to ANY other country now. Either the criminals or the moslems have FUBAR'd them all.

    2. Yup .... all of Europa is definitely fooked up now. Africa ? I have no desire to get a disease or killed by abpissed off elephant!
Canada fluck them too. French and all anyway. And too damn cold even in august.
It's all the USB and only the US for me.

    3. IMP, That's where I'm at. Plus you have to fly to get most places and I'm done with the cattle car experience too. So glad I haven't flown since 1999.

    4. Kid... if only everyone could experience flight like I had the opportunity and pleasure of doing. Once, just once. The downside was you'd have to take a second mortgage on your house if you wanted to do it often...lol
But look....it's a $5000 per hour plane. So a 3 hour flight to aspen is $15000. Now the plane can be fitted to seat 20....that's now $750 one way.... $1500 round trip to fly in private with all your friends in total luxury.... with 2 FA's to keep you fed and watered for your favorite drinks. That's not too bad for spoiled snow bunnies is it?

    5. IMP, Good Info. Thanks. If only I had friends that wanted to go where I want to go! Did you see that a company called BOOM is planning for an FAA approved supersonic passenger aircraft by 2023 ? As an aside.

Maybe we should all hook up some time and hit the big time ! :)

  7. I have a pre-existing condition that makes me allergic to libtard socialist redistribution from both parties. Now what? I feel like that 3-legged horse in an ass kicking contest in the Derby. Glad I still have 'coverage' at the Right Wing Diaries :)
