Yes, They Are Building SKYNET Right Now

And they have all the technology they need to do it.

See This article

It's long so unless you love to read, I would recommend just skipping through it and focus on the sections with pictures.  That would be the quickest way to get up to speed on it if you aren't already.

But autonomous Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAVs) that don't need human direction.  They just tell it to go kill.  Same with everything else.  And what of war itself when it is dehumanized ?  It's like the Star Trek episode where two planets have computers on each planet and conduct virtual attacks and the determined casualties have to walk into suicide chambers.  Nice and neat and disgusting.

They will have Artificial Intelligence (AI) software in these things that can learn.  That software is available now.  The learning part is the particularly scary part.  It is easy to see how a learning robot will soon come to regard mankind as the main threat to the planet.

Even if they couldn't learn, they'd be hacked and reprogrammed.  Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking are against this to the 10th power.  Easy to understand why.

Say Hello to My Leeetle Friend....

These things are being built today in many forms.

  1. Could it be most of the big shots in the Gov. Agencies are some form of cloned life form from the terrestrial, or a robotic android? The way they think about us as it is.

    1. TS/WS, Your comment makes me ponder whether there are a significant number of life forms right here on Earth (libtards mostly) who are actively working to create an environment that results in the complete destruction of mankind? Could be.

But yea, the government doesn't give a shit about anyone. Not at all.

  2. I could use the robotic Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System. I could send it to the grocery store when the snow was deep and could do my shopping. All that stuff was creepy.

    1. Adrienne, I will order one and have it shipped to your home.

Or how about we all get one and send it to Wash, DC ?

    2. Ok Ed, 10 or 20. Whatever you can afford :-)

  3. Yeah Kid, I was thinking along the same lines. This is the natural disposition of secular humanism. There is no innate virtue or value in people. That we were created in the image of God does not come into consideration. Government is the answer to all our problems and if machines can replace people, then there's fewer problems. Those that are left will fear to step out of line.

    1. Sig, Excellent point. Yes, I absolutely believe government views US as nothing more than a pain in the ass.

If they could create AI machines to do the paperwork and keep the machines running supplies for them they'd do it in a heartbeat.

  4. So, Kid. Doing your best John Connor imitation? When the killer cyborgs come after you, tell Arnie Schwartzenegger I said hey.

    1. I'll do it Fredd. I actually think it will happen. It will be a while, but tht genie will eventually come out of the bottle. Look at technology since just 1980. I managed a $70,000 Digital Computer System that had 56 MB of disk space and 256K of memory.

I now have a cell phone in my pocket with thousands to millions of times more capacity in memory and storage and usefulness that cost $600.

    2. I get it, Kid. When I was an intel analyst in 1976, our facility in West Germany had a mainframe that supported approx. 100 work stations. The work stations had a data base, an early 'email' capability, and two other functions that I don't remember: four buttons, F1 through F4, it was called the LaFine Wine system. Something you could get out of a box of Cracker Jacks today. To support these work stations, the mainframe took up a 4000 square foot area that had to be cooled to 50 degrees or so, and had rack upon rack of vacuum tubes and wiring, it was the size of a house. Cutting edge technology.

  6. If there is a robotic expert out there who has never heard of Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics, they deserve to be fired. They're not competent. Period.

    1. Cube, Agree. Asimov came up with a 4th law, or a zeroth law:

Asimov also added a fourth, or zeroth law, to precede the others:

      0. A robot may not harm humanity, or, by inaction, allow humanity to come to harm.

      From Wikipedia.

But again, program whatever laws you want into them, they'll get hacked.

  7. just viewed a soros video suppressed by the MSM awhile ago--giving his 5 step plan to take down the U S --I wonder if he has added robotics and AI as a sixth step ? !!!

    1. I think someone should add a 50 cal to Soros.

But to your point - Insanity knows no bounds as the left and media prove on a minute by minute basis.

  8. I've made several posts about the danger and potential horror of increasing robotization at FreeThinke'sblogspot.com

I see this a probable trigger bound to immanentize the Eschaton. Face it ever since "Science" took it upon itself to discredit and supplant God then act in HIS stead, humanity has been on the downward path, DESPITE all the "progress" made in technology and even medicine.

    1. FT, Yep, some evil things coming. Harvesting embryos for stem cells, editing DNA, this stuff, lots more going on somewhere today.

    2. What do you think of cars that drive themselves, Kid?

    3. FT, There is a niche for the self drivers. Taxi service and other shuttling come to mind. I would not want to own one. I like to be in control.

I also say today's kids need them, especially in Cincy.

  10. This is what happens when we rely solely on Matter,
and deny the very existence of Spirit:

    ____ ALVIN TOFFLER REVISITED ____

I used to look on Change with dread ––
No more. Thank God I’ll soon be dead.
    Orwell told what to expect:
By too much “progress” we’ll be wrecked.
    By rendering ourselves redundant
Life will cease to be abundant.
    Before our congresscurs have blinked
    We will make ourselves extinct!

    1. FT, We're challenged to get college aged people just to know there was a civil war and why it was fought... :)

    2. If you want your children to get a GOOD education, DON'T send them to COLLEGE ––– especially colleges in the formerly prestigious-now-toxic POISON IVY LEAGUE.

Encourage them to read great books, listen to good music, volunteer to help friends and neighbors who truly NEED help they can give, and above all LEARN a TRADE that will enable them to earn a living under any conditions. Even in the U.S.S.R. plumbers, carpenters, electricians, doctors, nurses, medics, and undertakers were always needed.

  11. MacGregor was a worthy Scot
    And so was old MacTavish;
    Upon their aged, hoary heads
We should heap much praise lavish.

But not all "Macs" are worthy folk
Some are like a foul joke
Worth no more than wind from a beanery
    Like the villain vile MacHinery!
