Euripides, Tommy is playing somewhere in the world every few days. If he happens to land in your area, I highly suggest going to see him. Fantastic show. Much better than this vid.
He sure does like his work, doesn't he! Amazing guitarist, and nice to see someone truly enjoy their own talent....we should all feel that way about something we do, don't you think? What a gift. The Beatles tunes are astonishing.......every single one of them. And I think they all did good work after the split, too.
Z, Yes, the Beatles all did produce some good stuff individually afterwards. They all had such talent. As far as Tommy, he was interested at 2 years old and playing in a commercial family band at 4 !
Chapter 1 of 19 if anyone is interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKTfM7Q2ot4, The right sidebar will lead you through the rest of them
Z, Tommy's stated mission in life is to bring a good time to people, knowing all of the bad stuff out there for people to alternately focus on. To entertain. He does a good job at it. Been doing it since he was 6 in the family band. He literally plays a concert somewhere in the world every 2-3 days.
There's a fascinating (to me) movie called Across the Universe that is based on a number of Beatles tunes. The songs are covered by the actors and interpret the 60s.
Does a market correction of 10% that only stayed in the red for maybe four minutes count? The bull market that has been rocking and rolling since March, 2009 would technically be over now, right Kid?
Time to start the new count on this new bull market? Go ahead and ask me if I made any trades during that brief blood letting a few weeks ago. YES: I bought SPY, lots of it. I know you love the S&P 500 as the true measure of U.S. greatness, I thought I would get in on the action, so far so good.
And I still stand by my Dow 20,000 projection as to when a really BIG correction will hit (S&P 2400). You heard it here first, Kid.
Great guitar, and it really underlines how solid some of the Beatles tunes really are.
ReplyDeleteEuripides, Yes sir. The Beatles were extremely talented musicians.

Does it count? That's up to you :) Nope we are in a multi-year bull market. I'd say your numbers are pretty close to what will occur.
