This is pretty funny actually.
College Sucks
The above link takes you to a short set of slides illustrating why college sucks.
What hit me when I saw it, was the irony, so typical of libtards, at work in our lives yet again and again and again.
A lot of these people were down with the Occupy movement, right? Hate the rich and declare war on the rich.
1. Little did they realize it was merely a movement cooked up by the democrats (how did they get so good at this stuff? had to have help) to demonize anyone who would run against them as a Republican. When the idiots ran Romney, one of the 1%, I'm amazed they didn't all laugh themselves to death.
2. The main point. Now get this. The libtard kids Hate the rich. Their focus was the rich people who actually manufacture and distribute essential products and services they all cherish, right? ie. Apple as 100 BILLION in cash in the bank but they can't wait to go stand in line in bad weather for 24 hours to put down top dollar on the latest gizmo.
The rich people they Love? The colleges and universities that they go into hock 160 Grand for and often get jack Nothing out of it. LOL! And that's just 4 years and some BS degree. And they never stop loving them! They put stickers on their back windows, support the sports teams, the whole ball of idiotic wax. Hahaa ha.
Be an engineer, and I'll respect you. Come out with any of the myriad of BS degrees and go to work Part Time, becuase no one is hiring Full Time because of dictator obama's obamacare details, and I'll laugh you into the ground and point out how stupid you are all day long.
College: Pay BIG money to get your kid to hate America.
ReplyDeletegrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Z, It would be hilarious if it were funny.
DeleteAnd I forgot to mention, Hahvard, their pinnicle of pinnacles has tens of billions of follars stashed away. Gee, maybe they should give a break on tuition? Nawwww.
maybe that's how Obama atttended Hahvard? Or..gee......who DID he say paid? Nobody? Oh, what the heck, let's vote for him, anyway!! (grrrr!)
ReplyDeleteI believe he got in on a foriegn visa affirmative action type of deal.
DeleteI don't believe he did anything there other than protest whitey with his black power theology buddies. he was put on the slip slide fast track, Given a law degree which he never practiced and promptly surrendered when he was placed into the white house. he's nothing more than a fake individual bent on the destruction of America and similar nations. I wonder if I could put that to music?
Why do folks still encourage the youth to go to college-?
ReplyDeleteCarol-CS
Carol-CS, because today's college is yesterday's high school.
DeleteGot it!!
DeleteC
Carol-CS ;-)
DeleteSuch envy from the little no nothing.
ReplyDeleteKidd, your anger is a freaking bore.
Try again duck, I'm laughing like a Hyena at you pseudo intellectual mental midgits. hehehehe
DeleteOh look Duckys here and he is "cheesing off the fringe right wing" (as his bio puts it) or is he feeding on the wings in the fridge? It is no secret that America's institutions of higher education (or more aptly put getting high while in the institutions) are filled with radical left wing extremists. The old 60's leftist revolutionary saying "if you want to change the system, you have to do it from within" is now in full frontal. You have terrorists standing in front of a pliant youthful audience peddling their "Che' dogma" the likes of Bill Ayers, Ward Churchill and Angela Davis. All tenured professors who, according to the left are "esteemed".
ReplyDeleteA college degree from a liberal institution is akin to a card carrying communist.
Rosey, That Too !
DeleteGet a PhD today and you might -- MIGHT -- have an 8th grade education.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost come to that, I think.
You know something else? Parents shell out big bucks in real estate taxes to live in a "good" school district. When their child is accepted into the GT program, one day that child, a 7th grader, comes home and announces, "My class watched the Lorax for a full week in class, and I didn't even have to write an essay about it." No joke -- this really happened last spring in one of most prestigious public school districts here in Virginia.
AOQ, Now, I can Finally call myself a Phd ! ;-)
DeleteThe Lorax? Geeez, and from the trailer, that looked like the worst animated film of the decade... But Good God... There are a few decent high schools around here but Not many.
It also occurs to me on the cursive thing, a society that can't communicate as well is also preferred by government.
And why learn math, everyone has a calculator on their cell phone.
Not AOQ, AOW.
DeleteKid,
DeleteThe student I mentioned above is the daughter of a prominent conservative journalist for Commentary Magazine, the WSJ, etc. She is an asset to our homeschool group -- as is her father. **smile**
She joined my class in April, and I immediately assigned her a five-part book report (my design and copyrighted). For the first time in her scholastic life, this student was writing paragraphs instead of isolated sentences. Of course, her father assisted her with climbing this new "hill" (the standards for my students). She told me, "I've learned more in your class in one day than I learned all year in school."
I stress, once again, that she was in the county schools' GT program -- in one of "the best" school systems in the United States.
AOW, It's the new smart isn't it?
DeleteKid,
Delete"The new smart" is dumber than a box of rocks!
I know bashing higher education is all the rage these days. With the amount of debt piled up by stupid kids who major in 'puddings and their cultural impact,' perhaps approaching 6 figures, it's easy to point out the frivolity of a college degree anymore.
ReplyDeleteStill, we are woefully lacking in college grads who stick to the money earning, and subsequently socially necessary degrees in science, medicine, engineering, you know, the hard stuff.
When the average dope graduates $50 Large in hock brandishing a 'women's studies' degree, what self respecting employer would touch this walking, talking sexual discrimination lawwuit with a 10 foot pole?
Duh. Ditto with any useless liberal arts degree. The only use their diploma has in society is to wipe somebody's butt with. But what do I know, I go around ending sentences with prepositions....
Fredd, How are you pal?
DeleteNew information I read today. Local Cincinnati Headline "Majority of Grads Unprepared for college", listing thier sores in the 21 average area, then nothing that nationwide the score is 20.
We had lunch at Ruby Tuesday a couple days ago. The waitress just finished 4 years of Accounting, has decided she doesn't like accounting - she likes the Green Movement - so she's going back to school for I think Electrical Engineering. She wants to plant solar panels all over the Earth.
I asked her is she was familiar with Concentrated Solar Power, they're building one in Nevada. No panels, just mirrors, a concentration point where the molten salt is heated and the turbines of course to create the crazy electron stuff, or did she know about Thorium/Molten Salt reactors which are 100% safe. Or that MIT kids have invented a reactor that uses the waste from other reactors... Naw. She promised to google em up and we'll talk next time. We'll see. She thought we were some dinosaurs hooked on oil and coal.
listing thier scores in the 21 average area, then noting that nationwide the score is 20.
DeleteFeeling good, Kid. Not looking too good, tho'. But, as Billy Crystal (doing his imitation of Fernando Lamas) always says: 'is better to feel good than to look good, you know what I'm sayin'?
ReplyDeleteEr, wait. Maybe he didn't say that....
That idiot at Ruby Tuesday had better rethink her greenie inclinations. Quickest way to living in a dumpster is to chase your green dreams.
But then again, a few years in the dumpster would be a great education for that moron. Teach her about life, and how it sucks if you don't pull your head out of your ass.
But what do I know, I just go around quoting has-been's imitating has-been's...
PS: thanks again for the DUST tip, I really cleaned up on that one thanks to you. FYI I never shorted anything in my life, other than gold: I never understood going through life hoping shit goes to hell, thought that was not a very happy existence. Of course, that was until I heard from YOU, Kid, and you bumped up my gold pessimism from that feeble DZZ to that supercharged DUST... ;-)

You're more than welcome Fredd, Glad it worked out. DUST and NUGT are tigers by the tails. You can get Hurt on those beauties.
DeleteI'm still trading them. But it's in and out Quick (same day, sometimes hours) until a trend develops. Looking at the chart, moves like that one in Dust don't come along often. Perfect storm there as gold broke down through Long time support at 1550.
It IS better to feel good. I don't look like I'm 35 either, but hope that's all it is with you.
Fredd, Experience is the Only thing that's gonna teach these kids anything. I'm convinced we're in it for the duration now. I don't think we'll Ever see 1960 again though.
