  1. Yes, with the dark forces of evil running the empire, that is an accurate forecast.

    1. Opus, Yes, I agree. Also have you noticed that there are practically No pleasant story lines (if any) in sifi future films ? Star Trek was/is probably the most optimistic of them. Hmmm

  2. Way back 2001 meant moon colonies and space stations. Not what it turned out to be: flea-ridden save cavedwelling porn addicts who hate us for our freedom.

    1. dnarks, Got ya. Yes, the muslims in the news are making it pretty disgusting for everyone else and need to be dealt with most severely in my opinion. Asap.
I could go down the list of other negatives in our midst, but the list would be log and why dwell on the negative. We have a choice of who we give free rent space to in our brains.

Let's have some fun and deal with the other stuff as it gets in our faces. We can't rule the world eh?

  4. The bottom drawing looks like an evangelical end times wet dream.

And if we ever allow them to hold sway it is exactly what we'll end up with.

  5. I picture it like the 1984 iPod commercial.

Without the goodlooking chick in the red shorts.

    2. This is the one I meant--it was for the Mac

It was "doctored" for the iPod announcement (I think) in 1994 or maybe 2004 but I can't find that.

    3. Thanks Larry, I remember that now. Sure wish I'd have bought Apple stock between 1984 and 2005. 1,000 shares in 2005 for a total investment of 8 grand would get you 2000 shares when it split then selling the 2000 shares at $700.00 would have gotten you 1.4 million in 7 years..

    4. I went to work for a Bell-system company in the early 1960's--oldtimers in the shop bought all the AT&T stock they could afford (or were allowed) at the discount employees got.

The company had a policy of keeping the price under $100/share so everything it got much above that they split it 2-for-1 or 3-for-1.

It always bounced back to around $100/share and they'd split it again.

I finally got to where I could buy some (you had to be there 5 years I think) at some number like $67.50--a n umber it never ever got to again.

    5. Larry, Sorry to hear that. And yea, that's usually how it goes for retail investors. :)

  6. So much for colonizing the moon! It seems that some Democrats want to establish government offices there!
