Kid, That pic is so dizzying even after the description?!?
(p.s.; After following all the links to fully understand the science of this pic, one of them lead me to my latest post, so thank you!)
(p.s.s.; I answered your very interesting query in a previous post with a question of my own regarding your friends info so as to investigate more,,,,,,)
Christoper, in case you didn't know. When you click on the pic and get to the APOD site, you can click on the picture there and almost always get a high resolution version, which you can then click on again and zoom into areas of the pic that look interesting. Wild stuff this one.
That is interesting. Look like trees, but cast no shadow. How cool is that! Darned cold, I would imagine.
ReplyDeletePretty cold Opus. Air is thin, sun further away and down near the horizon on the upper right. Perfect place for the next Congressional field trip.

DeleteChristoper. I agree. On the p.s. Cool :) On the p.s.s. I will ask and reply.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!

Carol-CS, if you didn't - click the picture a few times and get it to where you can zoom in. Wild.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is beautiful. Not the Grand Canyon but equally beautiful/complex in it's own way.
What an eerie visage.
ReplyDeleteSig, it looks feminine doesn't it? I thought women were from Venus and men from Mars.
