ReplyDeleteIt occurred to me today, that for as much disdain Ronald Reagan had for government, he wasn't able to steer it on a new course. He did accomplish things, but we were left with the same old diseased 'government' when he left.

Well, I was old enough, I just wasn't paying much attention. I remember the 'Gorbechev, Tear Down This Wall', and the "The missiles will be on their way to Russia within 15 minutes". I thought he was a cool and competent guy. I know a lot more about him these days.
They Say, Yes, and they don't even try to hide it anymore. Too much bother and they can be quite sure their supporters aren't paying the least bit of attention.
