Texas ! Secede !

From the Declaration of Independence -

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

I'd say the current government has potential to get close to being in opposition to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

There is obviously a lot of chatting on the interwebs about Gov Perry's comments and the subject of secession. In the case of news articles with comments attached I can't help but notice that the Liberals are commenting like Mexican Jumping Beans in a Frying Pan Covered with Fire Ants. Seriously. They are screaming Treason, Illegal, Texas better not ask for any Federal Money, on and on with pathetic childish Incorrect statement.

So, I think to mine self (JG, I can't help it now!) why would liberals abhor the idea of getting rid of so many red state voters !? Then I figure it out. It is because, even though I doubt they even know it themselves - they sense it, they are wondering who is going to pay for all their liberal programs. Imagine if Texas secedes - Every productive member of the other 49 states would get there post haste, and leave the Liberals to rot in the hell hole they have created and are expanding on. There'd be no one left to pay the bill !
