Has to be a very large event to be visible that far south. Other colors may certainly be possible.<br /><br />That is one of the very high mountains in Norway. What is the jagged peak in the front? Is to a mountaintop, or is it an iceberg? <br /><br />Are the northern lughts always so GREEN, or do they vary in color? I have a very old children's encyclopedia in one volume from the imd-nineteen-forties with an "artist's conception" of the Aurora.. It's shown in every color of the rainbow. <br /><br />The information in the book is so out of date it's absurd, but it's STILL one of my favorite things.
